Fish don't fry in the kitchen, beans don't burn on the grill, took a whole lotta tryin just to get up that hill... Now we're up in the big leagues takin our turn at bat...
If you do not know the lyrics to this theme song or where it is from then... (sob, sob) we are old. Anyhoo, nobodies moving on up but we did move on in. At least we moved some KILLER stuff into this beautiful Penton Development home that is on Wilmington's Parade of Homes tour. Penton Development asked us to furnish this house for the tour.
So Hooper and I partnered with Studio 123 in Raleigh and grabbed some beautiful pieces for the house as well as a few pieces of our own to create a fun, vibrant don't ya want to live here space.
And the best part.... (drum roll)... Everything is for sale! The house, the furniture, the art, Everything!
The unexpected bright yellow is amazing on the traditional camel back. And... remember my coffee table from our blog party? Several people asked to buy it but I wasn't selling. Well... now it's for sale!... (I think)
This piece is great and pulls all the color together. Jeff doesn't know it yet but I'm scheming to own this. I mean my house could always use more art...right?
I have a feeling Hooper is scheming to own this vintage lamp.
Wait til you see the beautiful headboard and sofa that are filling the master bedroom and accompanying this chair! Master redo anyone?
I promise when the whole thing is finished you will get a tour. Today we are going on a field trip to a local artist studio for more art. Sooo excited!
We also are planning a small par-tay at the home for all our loyal blog readers to join us and perhaps pick up a few things for your own home!
bye, bye Birdie,
