This beach house got a makeover... For more on this, see here. The open concept living/dining space called for a major facelift in the dining room. Fortunately, the dining room had a big glass fretwork table and chairs that are timeless. The rug, fabrics and lighting needed updating. Take a look at the before and after.
I kept the sideboard and dining table and chairs.
With a new custom wool rug from Eatman's Carpet and Interiors and new fabric on the chairs, the room came to life. I added a crystal/silver leaf chandelier from Currey and Company for a delicate touch of elegance without being too formal.
Currey and Company glass lamps flank the sideboard and replaced wooden palm tree buffet lamps for a current look.
